Our take
The Gemini MM1 is a classic compact mixer for DJs who need portability. The 2-band EQ on each channel gives you basic tone shaping, and the RCA and 1/4-inch connections cover most gear. It's truly pocket-sized, so you can throw it in a bag. Build quality is okay — mostly plastic but sturdy enough. The sound is clean for an analog mixer, but no built-in effects or USB means you need outboard gear. The lack of a crossfader is a miss for scratch DJs. For $60, it's a good backup or simple mixer for practice, but limited for professional use. I wish it had more features, but it does what it promises.
